A new installation begins with a room that has no opening above it. A replacement begins with something already in the roof. The conversations are related but they start from different information.
For a new installation, the useful details are the room, the ceiling, and what you would like the light to do. For a replacement, the useful details are what is currently there and how long it has been in place.
We do not diagnose an existing unit remotely. If something is concerning you about a skylight already in your roof, describe it and we will talk it through.
